Torres del Paine – Mirador Lago Grey

After more than twenty kilometres on foot the previous day, we kept our final morning gentle, warming up at the lakeside hotel before walking Grey Lake's beach and taking in Patagonia one last time.

Since we hiked over 20 km (13 miles) the day before and this was our last day in Torres del Paine National Park, we decided to only do an easy stroll. Therefore, we slept on the southern shore of the Grey Lake, warmed ourselves up in the nearby luxurious hotel in the morning and then walked along the beach to enjoy some last panoramic views of the mountains before heading to our next destination – Argentina.

Our conclusion: was Mirador Lago Grey a good final walk?

After a much longer hike the day before, the easy walk along Lago Grey was exactly what we needed. It gave us one final set of mountain views without asking exhausted legs for another full-day trek before we continued to Argentina.
